On Mother’s Day; Sunday 15th March we ran our first levelled ‘Improvers’ Americano tournament for a great group of ladies.
We started with a 10-minute warm up then went straight into 5 individual 15-minute games. Every player moved around to play with a different player depending if they won or lost their game. We commandeered the white board to draw up the grid of names so that we could score the points after each round, normally we estimate a couple of minutes between games to write scores and people to get into position.
The ladies enjoyed the games and although it was fun and friendly there was definitely a competitive edge to it which ensured we had an overall winner.
