Behind Matchpoint Marketing are Polly Thatcher and Paul Rudman. Together, we combine senior-level marketing delivery with real, on-site operational experience — so strategies don’t just look good on paper, they work in live padel clubs, day to day.

Paul Rudman – Co-Founder

Paul started his marketing career providing SEO consultancy services in London in the very early noughties. He has 25 years’ experience running companies and delivering online marketing for organisations of all sizes—from McLaren to Marie Claire, from The Wall Street Journal to HSBC and the UK Government.
As search has evolved, Paul has adapted with it—covering local search, video, and modern discovery across AI Overviews, citations and LLM-driven search.

His focus is on making sure padel businesses are visible where modern search decisions actually happen — locally, visually and across emerging AI-driven platforms.

Polly Thatcher – Co-Founder

Polly is a passionate padel player and marketing professional with 20+ years’ experience across strategic marketing, events, brand development and operational management. Over the past two years, she has become one of the most experienced padel marketing specialists in the UK—working directly with leading operators to launch new sites, grow communities, fill memberships, and build club identities players connect with.

Her work is rooted in real club environments, aligning marketing decisions with staffing, timetables, memberships and player experience.
